How do I collect a place?
Tap the binoculars button to find places near you, then tap Collect on any place to add it to your collection.
What is familiarity?
Familiarity grows each time you check in at a place you have collected. As it rises, your standing at that place moves from Visitor to Regular, Local, and Resident.
Why does Alvenea ask for my location?
Location is used to find the real places around you so that you can collect them. It is only used while you are in the app, and it never leaves your device.
Will my purchased slots carry over to a new phone?
Yes. Purchased slots are saved to your iCloud account, so they return on their own when you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device with the same Apple ID.
No places are showing up nearby.
Make sure Alvenea has location access in your device settings, and that you have an internet connection. If you are somewhere quiet, try moving to an area with more places around you.
